Job summary

Providence St. Joseph Hospital Eureka is seeking a Per Diem Nuclear Medicine Technologist to perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures across age groups, under supervision of the Department Director and Lead Technologist.

You will collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other staff, participate in quality control, and contribute to a patient-focused, compassionate care environment at St. Joseph Hospital Eureka.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a program in nuclear medicine technology approved by the AMA Ethics committee.
• National Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist or National Registered Technologist in Nuclear Medicine.
• California Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification required on hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association required on hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic radionuclide-based procedures per department standards.
• Serve as a customer service representative to patients and families and medical staff.
• Participate in quality control and process improvement activities.
• Participate in department call schedule to meet staffing needs.
