Pet Food Express is seeking a Lead Sales Consultant to guide store operations, engage customers, and drive sales through expert product knowledge and exceptional service. The role emphasizes training Sales Associates, maintaining cash handling accuracy, and upholding merchandising standards.

Responsibilities include opening/closing procedures, stock management, and supporting loss prevention while fostering a proactive, sales-focused team environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership and keyholder experience in retail.
• Experience in pet retail is a plus.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and stand for long periods.
• Strong reliability and punctuality with good attendance.

Responsibilities

• Engage with customers and drive sales through informed product recommendations.
• Coach Sales Associates and participate in daily training to elevate team performance.
• Open and close registers, maintain cash handling accuracy and security.
• Lead stock unloading, restocking, display upkeep and visual merchandising to company standards.
• Support loss prevention and overall store operations, stepping in as needed.
