Job summary

Pet Food Express is seeking a Lead Sales Consultant in Vista, CA. You will guide customers through product choices, coach Sales Associates, and lead by example to deliver a fun, friendly shopping experience while driving sales goals.

You’ll participate in daily training, stay current on new products, and help maintain displays and store standards. A leadership mindset, reliability, and flexibility to work weekends/evenings are essential. Pets-friendly policy and community impact are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1-year leadership and keyholder experience required, preferably in a retail environment.
• Passion for pets and desire to help pet parents find best solutions.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and to stand, walk, bend and engage in repetitive motions.

Responsibilities

• Engage and sell by approaching customers, asking questions to understand needs, and providing tailored recommendations.
• Learn and educate by participating in daily training to enhance product knowledge and sales skills and sharing knowledge with team.
• Operate and maintain by leading store open/close procedures, ensuring cash handling accuracy, unloading shipments, stocking, updating displays, and maintaining cleanliness and loss-prevention awareness.
