K9 Resorts Luxury Pet Hotel in North Olmsted, OH seeks an Assistant Manager to partner with the General Manager, drive performance, develop teams, and ensure operational excellence across the resort. This hands-on leadership role requires strong customer focus, operational discipline, and team leadership.

You’ll be responsible for shaping culture, coaching Supervisors and Pet Care Technicians, and promoting a 5-Star service experience.

Qualifications

• Prior management or supervisory experience.
• Experience in pet care, daycare, boarding, or similar environment preferred.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills.
• Business-minded with an understanding of operations and performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• High emotional intelligence and professionalism.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Flexible availability including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop Supervisors, CSRs, and Pet Care Technicians.
• Support scheduling, staffing, and labor management; manage daily ops for efficiency and safety.
• Ensure delivery of 5-Star service; handle high-level customer concerns and client retention.
• Represent K9 Resorts in the community and drive marketing initiatives.
