Job summary

Petco Vetco Total Care is seeking a Hospital Concierge to provide first-class client and patient service in our full-service veterinary hospital. You will be the first and last contact for clients, help manage appointments, greet visitors, and support clinical staff to ensure a smooth daily flow.

You have at least 1 year of experience in veterinary or customer-facing work, excellent communication skills, and a compassionate, team-oriented attitude.

Qualifications

• Must have at least 1 year of experience in veterinary practice or a customer-facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Compassionate and empathetic with a professional demeanor.
• Exceptional telephone and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer the practice phone and route calls appropriately.
• Maintain hospital appointment calendar including scheduling from callers or visitors and reviewing online bookings.
• Greet all visitors, notify staff, monitor wait times, and assist during peak times.
• Participate in training of new staff and disseminate knowledge.
• Ensure waiting area is clean and stocked with materials.
• Confirm appointments via client’s preferred method and adjust as needed.
• Provide backup support to technical staff when needed.
