Job summary

Petco's Vetco Total Care in Saint Augustine, FL seeks a friendly Concierge to deliver exceptional customer care to clients and patients. You will be the first and last contact, answering phones, greeting visitors, scheduling appointments, and supporting the veterinary team.

The role requires a high school diploma and at least 1 year in a veterinary practice or customer-facing setting, with excellent communication and strong computer/phone skills. Training and teamwork are emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of experience in veterinary practice or a customer-facing role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer the practice phone and route calls.
• Maintain hospital appointment calendar and online bookings.
• Greet visitors and clients; notify staff when they arrive.
• Monitor wait times and accommodate as needed during busy periods.
• Participate in training of new staff and knowledge sharing.
• Keep waiting area clean and stocked, using disinfectants as required.
• Confirm appointments by client preference (phone, email, text) the day prior.
