Banfield Pet Hospital in Reston, VA seeks a Client Service Coordinator to drive client/pet flow, maximize team productivity, and ensure friendly, efficient care. You will welcome clients, educate on pet health, process documentation, invoices, and prescriptions, and support appointment scheduling.

The role requires strong communication, organization, and computer skills, with a customer-service mindset and ability to multi-task in a busy veterinary setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray).
• One year related experience preferred (customer service).
• Medical background (vet tech/human healthcare, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital and maximize productivity of the veterinary team.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service; welcome clients and educate about pet health.
• Assist in documenting client and pet information and processing invoices and prescriptions.
• Schedule appointments and assist with front-desk operations and checkout.
• Maintain accurate balances and assist with opening/closing procedures.
