Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to manage client and pet flow, maximize the veterinary team’s productivity, and ensure clear communication with clients and staff.

In this role you will educate clients on Optimum Wellness Plans, coordinate care, handle documentation, invoicing, and scheduling while maintaining a welcoming and efficient hospital environment.

Qualifications

• Fluent English, written and spoken, with proper grammar and vocabulary.
• Strong client service focus and ability to deliver attentive, courteous service.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with clients and team members.
• Demonstrates organizational ability to turn chaos into order and manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to solve problems and translate issues into practical solutions.
• Comfortable with computer use and basic software (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital for optimal productivity.
• Educate clients about wellness plans, preventative care, and hospital services.
• Provide efficient, welcoming service; schedule appointments and handle invoices.
• Assist with required documentation and entering pet information in the system.
• Assist with dispensing prescriptions and selling retail products.
• Maintain accurate balances and follow opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct general administrative tasks and other duties as assigned.
