Mission Pet Health in Austin, TX is seeking a friendly receptionist to be the face of our practice. You will manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, and ensure every interaction reflects our compassionate care.

You will coordinate care by maintaining medical records, scheduling appointments, and handling payments. A love for animals, excellent communication, and strong organization are essential; veterinary software experience is a plus and weekend availability is required.

Qualifications

• Customer service mindset with love for animals.
• Excellent communication, especially under pressure.
• Strong organizational ability with multitasking in a fast-paced setting.
• Team player who can also work independently.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred; flexible schedule including some weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain medical records, manage appointment schedules, handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: provide a calming presence and treat each pet like your own.
