Mission Pet Health in the United States is seeking a friendly receptionist to join our hospital team. You will be the first point of contact, greeting clients, answering phones, and guiding them through the patient intake process.

You will help maintain medical records, schedule appointments, and process payments, ensuring a smooth flow in a fast-paced veterinary setting. A passion for animals and strong communication are essential, with weekend hours required.

Qualifications

• A passion for customer service and a genuine love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to manage stressful situations with good judgment and a positive attitude.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• A collaborative, team-first mindset and the ability to work both independently and with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred. A flexible schedule, including some weekends and holidays, is required.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain medical records, manage appointments, handle financial transactions.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence for clients and treat each pet with care.
