Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 1+ year of customer service experience.
• Reception experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Comfort around animals, including anxious or aggressive.
• Physical requirements: stand, sit, move, bend, kneel, stretch; stay calm in a high-energy environment.
• Assisting Vet Techs with X-Rays, Blood draws, and administering meds.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet clients and pets upon arrival.
• Answer multi-line phones, schedule appointments, and update medical charts.
• Process monetary transactions and handle client payments.
• Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, stocking, scanning, and uploading records.
• Support kennel and boarding staff as needed with dog walking, feeding, and check-in/check-out.
• Maintain a clean and organized reception area to ensure a welcoming space.
• Assist with: X-rays, drawing blood, or administering medications.
