Mission Pet Health is seeking a Receptionist to manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients, and coordinate care with a focus on compassionate pet health service. You will maintain records, handle appointments, and process transactions to ensure smooth hospital operations.

Qualifications

• Passion for providing excellent customer service and love for animals.
• Exceptional communication skills for handling stressful situations with good judgment.
• Strong organizational skills to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Collaborative, team-first mindset and ability to work independently or with direction.
• Experience with veterinary software is preferred; flexible schedule including some weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Be the Director of First Impressions: manage a multi-line phone system, greet clients with a positive attitude, and reflect compassionate care.
• Ensure Seamless Care Coordination: maintain accurate medical records, manage appointment schedules, and handle financial transactions to keep the hospital running smoothly.
• Advocate for Pet Health: educate clients on preventative care and hospital services to ensure pets get the best care.
• Embody Compassion and Empathy: be a calming presence for clients, showing empathy and respect in every situation.
