Job summary

Dog Gone Happy in Raleigh, NC seeks a friendly Customer Service Representative to be the first point of contact for our clients and their dogs. You will greet pets and their people, answer questions about boarding, grooming, and daycare, and help ensure every visit is a great experience.

You'll manage front desk duties, schedule reservations, coordinate with grooming and kennel staff, and keep the office tidy.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication via phone, email, and in person.
• Team player who collaborates to care for guests.
• Experience in customer service preferred but not required.
• Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to handle/transport dogs and work in a busy environment.
• Genuine passion for working with animals.

Responsibilities

• Greet clients and pets at the front desk with a friendly, positive attitude.
• Answer phone calls and emails, provide information on services.
• Schedule appointments and manage reservations for boarding, grooming, and daycare.
• Assist with check-ins/check-outs and ensure pet comfort.
• Coordinate with grooming and kennel staff regarding dogs and their needs.
• Escort dogs to play areas and supervise activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized front office and work area.
