Job summary

Banfield Pet Hospital in Newton, MA is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to streamline the flow of clients and pets, support the veterinary team, and create a welcoming, efficient hospital experience.

You will recruit new clients, educate them on wellness plans, handle intake and documentation, and assist with appointments, invoices, and retail items while maintaining a smooth, productive front desk operation.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform radiography (x-ray) duties.
• One year related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital to support the veterinary team.
• Actively recruit new clients and route flow to ensure excellent client care.
• Maximize patient throughput to support wellness plan clients.
• Provide professional, efficient service and educate clients about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans and preventive care.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation and pet history in the system.
• Provide clients with instructions, invoices, and scheduling information; handle prescriptions and retail sales.
• Manage opening/closing procedures and hospital finances.
• Perform administrative tasks and additional duties as needed.
