Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of customer service or retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in person, telephone, and email.
• Proficiency with multi‑line phone systems and computer software.
• Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a fast‑moving work ethic.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Availability evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Welcome pet parents and their pets as if they are guests at a 5-star resort.
• Answer phones with a friendly tone and manage multiple calls simultaneously.
• Tour new clients through the facility and sell services that keep tails wagging.
• Verify that vaccination records are current and maintain accurate records.
• Manage check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently and with a personal touch.
• Handle cash, credit card transactions, and balance the end‑of‑day cash drawer.
• Respond to customer complaints calmly and professionally.
• Escort pet guests to and from their enclosures while maintaining safety and comfort.
• Keep the lobby clean, welcoming, and ready for first impressions.
• Support other team members as needed and perform other duties assigned.
