Job summary

National Veterinary Associates (NVA) is seeking a Client Service Representative to act as liaison for clients, provide product/service information, and resolve issues with accuracy and empathy, supporting pets and their families across our network.

The CSR will schedule appointments, maintain records, process invoices, dispense items per veterinarians’ instructions, and assist with cash handling while delivering excellent customer service. Flexibility to work weekends and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of veterinary terminology and procedures
• Flexible schedule, including some weekend and holiday shifts
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and to take direction
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, good judgment, and ability to manage stressful situations

Responsibilities

• Schedule appointments by calling clients
• Maintain client and pet records and documentation
• Provide instructions, information and invoices; dispense prescription items per veterinarian's instructions
• Utilize hospital computer systems to document medical records and communicate with clients and teammates
• Manage financials: process client transactions and cash handling; follow opening/closing procedures
• Deliver excellent customer service in a professional manner
• Educate clients on preventative care and hospital services/procedures
