PetVet Care Centers' Central Valley Animal Hospital in Rainbow City, Alabama, is seeking a Care Coordinator (Veterinary Receptionist) to deliver exceptional client service and support a high-performing veterinary team.

The role involves front-desk duties, appointment scheduling, client education, and data entry in the hospital's management system, with a focus on compassionate care and efficient operations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Excellent customer service and courteous assistance.
• Strong multitasking with attention to detail.
• Ability to stand, walk, climb, and lift animals up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person, over the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manage lobby flow, schedule appointments, and address client concerns.
• Assist with basic pet emergencies and safety.
• Assist with medication pickups and info on services and products.
• Enter data into practice management software including billing.
• Assist with retail sales, weigh pets, process faxes, and maintain records.
• Reconcile cash drawer and perform end-of-day duties.
