PetVet Care Centers' East Bay Veterinary Clinic in Oakland, CA is seeking a Veterinary Receptionist (Care Coordinator) to join our team and help deliver exceptional client service and compassionate care for pets.

The role includes greeting clients, scheduling appointments, handling admissions and payments, and supporting the hospital team in a fast-paced environment. A high school diploma and customer service experience are required, with 6+ months in a receptionist role preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of customer service experience.
• Experience with basic clerical tasks and data entry is helpful.
• Strong communication skills and ability to stay calm in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in-person, over the phone, and in high-stress situations.
• Manages lobby flow, schedules appointments, and addresses client concerns.
• Handles data entry and uses practice management software for billing and records.
• Assists with payments and basic retail/product inquiries.
• Supports the hospital team with administrative tasks as needed.
