You will capture medical notes, help create treatment plans, and ensure smooth coordination of patient care for a positive visit.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Love for animals and passion for delivering exceptional client service.
• Friendly, personable, and empathetic demeanor.
• Proficient in active listening, with strong computer literacy and typing skills for accurate medical transcription.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of veterinary terminology is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set expectations with clients before appointments.
• Act as a medical scribe in the exam room to capture real-time information.
• Create, present and explain treatment plans to clients.
• Coordinate care with the technical team and handle in-room check-outs and scheduling follow-ups.
• Educate clients on discharge instructions and prescription fulfillment.
• Conduct post-visit follow-ups to check on pet well-being.
