Digs Long Grove is seeking a friendly, hospitality-minded Front Desk Associate to join our dog daycare and boarding team. You will handle check-ins, scheduling, and POS while delivering a warm, professional experience for clients and their pets.

Qualifications

• Experience working with dogs.
• Comfort handling large, energetic dogs.
• Prior hotel front desk, reception, scheduling, or check-in desk experience is a plus.
• Basic canine behavior knowledge.
• Strong customer service and reception skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Organized, task-oriented, and detail-oriented.
• Reliable with strong time management skills.
• Genuine love and respect for all animals.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service and exceeding client expectations.
• Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming lobby and front desk area.
• Following all standard operating procedures.
• Managing check-ins, scheduling, and POS transactions.
• Handling dogs of all sizes and energy levels, including large and boisterous dogs.
• Assisting with animal care.
• Communicating clearly and professionally with clients and team members.
