Job summary

MVH is hiring a Client Service Coordinator to drive client and pet flow, support the veterinary team, and deliver friendly, informative service. You will educate clients on wellness plans and hospital services, assist with documentation, prescriptions, and scheduling, and help maintain financial accuracy in a busy hospital environment.

Responsibilities include welcoming clients, promoting services, and ensuring a positive experience for pets and families.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old to perform duties involving radiography (x-ray) and exposure to radioactive substances.
• One year related experience required with customer service preferred.
• Medical background (veterinary technician, human healthcare, pharmaceutical, etc.) with medical terminology training is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Drive the flow of clients and pets through the hospital to maximize productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and routing clients to ensure superior care.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by maintaining a productive, efficiently run hospital.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times, welcoming clients and pets and educating them about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, pet health needs and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation, entering pet information and scheduling.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, prescriptions, sales and future appointments.
• Manage finances with opening and closing procedures.
