Happy Paws in New York is seeking a Client Services Specialist to manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction with our grooming and pet-care services.

You will be the primary contact for clients, coordinate onboarding and scheduling, assist on the retail floor, handle check-ins/outs and payments, and collaborate with teams to deliver exceptional service across multiple channels. This role thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires comfort around dogs and cats.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in pet-related field.
• Comfort around dogs and cats.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Knowledge of project management principles.
• Sales experience is a plus.
• Team player in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for assigned clients, building relationships.
• Understand client needs and identify opportunities to add value and drive client success.
• Coordinate with internal teams to address client requests in a timely manner.
• Assist clients on the retail floor and with bookings.
• Interact with clients and their dogs.
• Schedule appointments and reservations via phone or walk-ins.
• Check dogs in/out and process payments.
• Assist stocking and maintaining the sales floor.
• Support client onboarding and project coordination.
• Communicate with clients via phone, email, and in person.
