Happy Paws in New York is seeking a Client Services Specialist to manage client relationships and ensure satisfaction with our grooming and pet-care services.

You will be the primary contact for clients, coordinate onboarding and scheduling, assist on the retail floor, handle check-ins/outs and payments, and collaborate with teams to deliver exceptional service across multiple channels. This role thrives in a fast-paced environment and requires comfort around dogs and cats.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in pet-related field.

Responsibilities

As a Client Services Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining relationships with our clients, ensuring their satisfaction and success with our products and services. Duties

• Serve as the main point of contact for assigned clients, building strong relationships and providing excellent customer service


• Understand client needs and goals, and proactively identify opportunities to add value and drive client success


• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client requests are addressed in a timely manner


• Assist clients on retail floor


• Interacting with clients and their dogs


• Communicating information and requirements to clients


• Making reservations and scheduling appointments through phone or by walk in clients.


• Checking dogs in/out of grooming and collecting payment


• Assisting Retail Customers on the sales floor


• Assist stocking sales floor


• Stock and Maintain sales floor


• Assist with project management activities, including coordinating client onboarding, training, and implementation processes


• Communicate effectively with clients through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person meetings

Requirements

• 1-2 year's experience working in pet related field


• Must feel comfortable working with and around Dogs and Cats


• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal


• Knowledge of project management principles and practices


• Sales experience is a plus
