Job summary

Eastern Animal Hospital in Baltimore is seeking a Client Service Representative to deliver exceptional client interactions and manage front-desk tasks in a busy, AAHA-accredited setting.

You will support doctors and staff with scheduling, record maintenance, and patient communications while maintaining a positive, professional presence. Weekend availability is required; competitive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in a veterinary setting is preferred.
• Ability to work on weekends as required.
• Strong customer-service skills and professional demeanor.
• OSHA safety protocols and PPE knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Lead opening and closing procedures per Manager and procedures.
• Ensure public areas are clean and presentable.
• Process cash, checks, card payments and credit accounts.
• Schedule appointments adhering to doctor preferences and ensure appropriate workflow.
• Assist in updating client/patient files as needed.
• Prepare and send client correspondence.
• Send reminder notices and follow-up calls.
• Perform backup of computer system as directed.
• Post daily business activities.
• Greet clients and patients with a warm, friendly demeanor.
• Answer incoming calls with proper etiquette.
• Present medications and take-home items to clients.
• Handle emergencies calmly per clinic policies.
• Address client concerns to ensure satisfaction.
