Job summary

Banfield is seeking a Client Service Coordinator to manage the flow of clients and pets through the hospital and to support the veterinary team. You will promote services, welcome clients and pets, and educate families on health plans and preventive care.

This role emphasizes excellent communication, multi-tasking, and providing a welcoming hospital experience that encourages visits and referrals.

Qualifications

• Strong communication with team and clients.
• Comfort with educating clients about pet health and plans.

Responsibilities

• Live and exemplify the Five Principles of Mars, Inc. within self and team.
• Actively recruit new clients by promoting hospital services and route the flow of clients and pets to ensure superior client care and maximum productivity of the veterinary medical team.
• Maximize the number of pets seen by the hospital team through a productive and efficiently run hospital to support wellness clients.
• Provide professional, efficient and exceptional service at all times; welcome clients and pets, ensuring comfort and education about pet health.
• Educate clients about Optimum Wellness Plans, preventative care, and hospital services.
• Assist incoming clients with documentation, entering pet information, and proper identification.
• Assist outgoing clients with instructions, invoices, dispensing meds, and scheduling appointments.
• Manage finances by maintaining balances and proper opening/closing procedures.
• Conduct administrative functions as necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.
