Job summary

Golden Pet Brands is seeking a Territory Sales Manager for the Upper Midwest. You will drive growth by expanding our retail store base, acquiring new accounts, and achieving sales targets across your territory.

This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage distributor relationships and collaborate with HQ for sustained growth. You will travel extensively (approximately 75% of the year) to meet retailers, attend shows, and execute launches and promotions, while maintaining deep knowledge of

Qualifications

• Thorough understanding of the pet industry, including distributors and retailers.
• Experience in sales management within the retail channel and strategies to grow accounts.
• Ability to develop mutually beneficial relationships with focused accounts.
• Strong market awareness and willingness to adapt to industry trends.

Responsibilities

• Identify and acquire new stores within your territory using sales tactics.
• Grow territory level accounts through HQ relationships and joint planning.
• Maintain store-level relationships and provide excellent service.
• Meet/exceed sales targets and manage trade spend and travel budget.
• Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports to management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams for order fulfillment and satisfaction.
• Execute new product launches, promotions, and marketing programs.
