LifeLine Animal Project is seeking an Adoption Counselor at the Community Animal Center in Atlanta, GA. You will guide adopters through the application process, explain pet care, and ensure a welcoming front desk experience while maintaining accurate adoption records.

The role emphasizes compassion for animals, strong communication, and teamwork with clinic staff to promote responsible pet ownership and efficient shelter operations.

Qualificações

• Compassion for animals and the people who love and care for them.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in customer service or hospitality is highly desirable.
• Ability to work with diverse groups and manage multiple tasks.
• Familiarity with shelter software or databases is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Counsel adopters through the application process and match potential adopters with pets.
• Explain pet behavior, care, and adoption requirements to the public.
• Provide a welcoming, helpful front-desk experience and maintain records.
• Coordinate meet-and-greet sessions and manage visitor flow.
• Process adoption paperwork and collect adoption fees and payments.
• Maintain accurate records in the shelter management software and respond to inquiries.
