Job summary

LifeLine Animal Project in Atlanta, GA is seeking an Adoption Administrator to support our adoption program. You will counsel the public on potential pets, review applications, collect fees, and update our shelter software.

You will perform data entry, field calls, process paperwork, and help ensure a compassionate, efficient, and compliant adoption process while upholding LifeLine’s values.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• 1+ years in animal-related field or sheltering preferred.
• Previous customer service or hospitality experience desirable.
• Fear Free Sheltering preferred.

Responsibilities

• Counsel the public on pet adoption options.
• Review adoption applications per guidelines.
• Handle adoption fees and cash box procedures.
• Answer inquiries via phone and email.
• Update shelter management software with adoption data.
• Maintain records of animals, clients, and inquiries.
