Job summary

LifeLine Animal Project is seeking a Concierge to be the first point of contact for visitors at the shelter in Atlanta, GA. You will greet guests, manage visitor flow, provide information on adoptions and programs, and support front-desk operations with a welcoming and professional demeanor.

The role requires strong customer service, excellent communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced animal shelter environment. Weekend and varying shifts are expected to meet shelter needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
• One or more years’ experience in animal-related field or animal sheltering preferred.
• Previous experience in customer service, hospitality, or similar role is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors and manage lobby flow to ensure a positive experience.
• Provide information about shelter operations, adoptions, and programs.
• Assist with check-in procedures and direct inquiries to the appropriate department.
• Maintain visitor logs and handle mail/donations as needed.
• Uphold LifeLine’s values and ensure safety and professionalism.
