Job summary

Orkin is seeking an energetic Sales Inspector in Norfolk, VA to drive sales for termite protection services and provide homeowners with trusted protection backed by 120+ years of expertise. The role includes award-winning training, career development, and a clear path to growth within a recognized pest-control leader.

You will meet homeowners, perform 360 inspections, and propose customized protection plans, while leveraging a company vehicle, competitive pay, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Ability to obtain pesticide license/certification; training/licensing provided by employer.
• Ability to work independently in the field with strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to conduct comprehensive interior and exterior home inspections.
• Identify termite activity, pest concerns, and conditions that may increase risk.
• Educate customers about inspection findings and recommended solutions.
• Design customized protection plans based on each customer's needs.
• Build trust through professional consultations and customer service.
• Follow up on leads and generate referral opportunities.
• Prepare service agreements and documentation using company technology.
• Manage your schedule and sales pipeline to achieve income and performance goals.
