Job summary

Orkin in Virginia Beach is seeking a driven Sales Inspector to meet homeowners, explain termite protection services, and design customized protection plans. You will perform 360 inspections from attics to crawlspaces, building trust and solving problems while delivering exceptional service.

The role emphasizes customer-focused sales with the potential for strong earnings and career growth through Orkin’s training and support. No pest control experience required; licensing costs are covered.

Qualifications

• Experience in sales or door-to-door / in-home service is preferred.
• Ability to deliver outstanding customer service in the field.
• Willingness to obtain pesticide license/certification if required; training/licensing costs covered.

Responsibilities

• Meet with homeowners to conduct comprehensive interior and exterior inspections and make strategic recommendations.
• Identify pest concerns and conditions that may increase risk.
• Educate customers about inspection findings and recommended solutions.
• Design protection plans based on customer needs.
• Manage schedule and sales pipeline to achieve income and performance goals.
• Follow up on leads and generate referrals.
