Western Exterminator Company in California is seeking a Staffing and Training Manager to oversee technician recruitment, coaching, and performance accountability, ensuring high service quality and strong customer retention.

You will lead residential and commercial pest service staffing, monitor branch schedules, maintain safety and regulatory compliance, and drive staffing efficiency while supporting growth and employee development.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Maintain licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Oversee ongoing technician training, coaching, development, and regular cadence of accountability.
• Recruit residential and/or commercial pest, termite, specialty, and lawn technicians to staffing levels.
• Review technician performance via ride-alongs and audits.
• Respond diligently to customer concerns.
• Ensure service quality to maximize customer retention.
• Fill in periodically on customer appointments to help close staffing gaps.
• Monitor branch scheduling and ensure appointments are completed efficiently.
• Ensure safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Monitor inventory levels of pest control products.
