Job summary

Crunch Fitness in Mount Pleasant is seeking a Fitness Manager to lead the Personal Training department and grow the PT business while developing trainers and delivering a premier member experience.

Driven by a no-judgment culture, the role requires coaching sales, leading by example, and maintaining energy and organization to hit department goals. This position includes base pay, commission, session payouts, and performance bonuses.

Qualifications

• Current CPR/AED certification and First Aid knowledge.
• Current nationally recognized Personal Trainer certification or a four-year related degree such as Exercise Science, Sports Medicine, Physical Education, Nutrition, or similar field.
• Previous Personal Training management experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train, and develop a team of qualified Personal Trainers.
• Keep the fitness team engaged, productive, and aligned with company standards.
• Run regular one-on-one and team meetings to review performance, goals, wins, and areas to improve.
• Coach trainers on sales conversations, client service, programming, and member follow-up.
