Job summary

Fitness Ventures LLC operates Crunch Fitness facilities and seeks a Personal Training Director to lead the PT department and uphold company standards. You will hire, train and develop Personal Trainers and drive revenue and member retention through exceptional programs and service.

The role emphasizes scheduling, budgeting, staff development and delivering high quality fitness experiences while fostering a positive, professional environment for members and staff.

Qualifications

• All applicants must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• To be eligible for employment applicants must be at least 18 years of age.
• Applicants must be eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Hire, develop and manage performance of qualified Personal Trainers.
• Train and develop staff regarding fitness and supplementation presentations to boost retention.
• Conduct weekly meetings to review performance and guide towards goals.
• Manage the Personal Trainer schedule within budgeted non-session hours.
• Discipline staff under supervision and mediate employee relations matters.
• Ensure Personal Trainers deliver high quality programs to clients.
• Develop weekly schedules for fitness staff and record Time & Labor.
• Ensure staff comply with Time and Labor guidelines and manage overtime.
• Provide member service and support related to fitness servicing issues.
• Assist members and encourage involvement in fitness services.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue objectives for fitness services and supplements.
• Hire, train and develop new Personal Trainers.
• Train staff on industry updates to ensure clients are trained professionally.
• Knowledge of Crunch Certified Fitness Program and related software.
• Adjust and operate club equipment.
• Coach/motivate groups.
• Demonstrate leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Maintain a friendly, enthusiastic and positive attitude.
• Strong member service focus.
• Respond to guest, member and staff inquiries professionally.
