Job summary

Blue Star Investments is seeking an energetic Personal Trainer with a sales mindset to drive training and merchandise revenue. You will support marketing efforts, engage with members, and conduct fitness consultations to set goals and track progress.

Ideal candidates are bilingual, self-starters with strong organizational and interpersonal skills, capable of multi-tasking and thriving in a team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or health-related field preferred, but not required.
• Personal Training Certificate preferred, but not required.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certified preferred, but not required.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Self-starter and team player.
• Excellent organization, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal training and merchandise sales.
• Execute marketing campaigns as set forth by the Marketing Director.
• Post on club’s social media accounts to enhance engagement.
• Focus on member experience, including follow-up to members and prospects.
• Conduct fitness consultations, including screening and goal setting.
• Administer body scan technology and interpret results.
• Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of 1–15 members.
• Monitor and assist members for safe exercise and proper equipment use.
• Clean and maintain the club and equipment.
• Review and analyze club reports to improve strategies.
• Encourage members to complete goals and provide accountability.
• Attend weekly/monthly meetings and trainings.
• Stay updated on certifications and trends in the industry.
