Job summary

Blue Star Investments is seeking an energetic Personal Trainer to drive training and sales while ensuring a positive member experience. You will support club initiatives, assist with merchandise and campaigns, and help maintain a welcoming, high-performance environment.

Responsibilities include conducting fitness consultations, leading workouts for groups, and following up with members and prospects to promote engagement and retention.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in kinesiology or health-related field preferred.
• Personal Training Certificate preferred.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certified preferred.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Self-starter and team player.
• Knowledge of MS Office and other PC software.
• Excellent organization and communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize.

Responsibilities

• Drive personal training and merchandise sales.
• Execute marketing campaigns as set forth by Marketing Director.
• Post on club’s social media accounts to enhance engagement.
• Focus on member experience with proper follow-up to members and prospects.
• Conduct fitness consultations, including pre-participation screening and goal setting.
• Understand how to administer body scan technology and interpret results.
• Deliver pre-designed workouts to groups of 1 – 15 members.
• Monitor and assist members to ensure safe performance of exercises and use of equipment.
• Clean and maintain the club and equipment.
• Review club reports to improve strategies and identify trends.
• Encourage members to complete goals and provide accountability.
• Attend weekly/monthly meetings and trainings.
• Remain current on certifications and trends in the industry.
