Job summary

Afbluestar is seeking a dedicated Personal Trainer to help members reach fitness goals through individualized sessions, body scans, and structured sales efforts. You will promote services, maintain a welcoming gym environment, and contribute to revenue targets while delivering exceptional member experiences.

You will provide pre-designed workouts for groups and ensure safety and progression, with ongoing certification support and a focus on retention and community building.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or health-related field preferred, but not required.
• Personal Training Certification preferred, but not required upon hiring. Certification required post hiring.
• CPR, First Aid and AED certification preferred; ability to obtain certifications required.
• Sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow a structured sales process to drive personal training sales and achieve monthly revenue goals.
• Engage with members and prospects via phone calls and follow-ups to schedule consultations and promote personal training services.
• Gain referrals from training clients by building relationships and delivering exceptional service.
• Implement local marketing campaigns with organic social media content to strengthen brand awareness and local connections.
• Conduct body scans and tailor fitness plans to track progress.
• Perform pre-designed workouts for groups of 1–15 members, ensuring safety and engagement.
• Monitor clients during sessions to ensure proper technique and safe equipment use.
• Review club performance reports to adjust training strategies.
