Job summary

United Insurance in Presque Isle, ME is seeking a Personal Lines Associate to support Account Managers by delivering excellent customer service, processing transactions, and preparing proposals.

You will utilize EPIC, PL Rater, and MS Office to respond to client and carrier requests, expand knowledge of coverages, and assist with documentation. When licensed, you may cover for Account Managers and help improve workflows.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Obtain state P&C licensing within 90 days of employment.
• Organized, able to multitask and manage time effectively.
• Self-motivated with a positive, professional attitude.
• Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Account Managers by processing transactions per workflows.
• Enter quotes into PL Rater and prepare proposal presentations.
• Respond to client and carrier requests and provide excellent service.
• Assist with documenting client and carrier interactions in EPIC.
• Cover for Account Managers when licensed and out of office.
• Develop expertise in the EPIC system and workflows.
