Job summary

United Insurance in Maine seeks a Commercial Lines Account Manager to support clients from office locations throughout the state. You will maintain a high level of customer service, build strong client relationships, and serve as the primary liaison among clients, United Insurance, and underwriters, offering guidance on coverage, costs, and needs.

Qualifications

• State P&C license required.
• High School diploma/equivalent required.
• 1–5 years' experience preferred.
• Designation(s) preferred, not required.
• Ability to multitask.
• Self-motivated.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Prior Experience with EPIC preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Excellent customer relationship skills.
• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a high level of customer service to retain accounts.
• Serve as primary contact between clients, United Insurance, and underwriters.
• Process policy changes, cancellations, reinstatements, certificates, binders, and other service-related transactions.
• Prepare new business and renewal applications and proposals, markets and remarkets accounts as appropriate.
• Review renewal policies for necessary coverage updates; follow up with carriers.
• Process client invoices and maintain accurate documentation in EPIC.
• Collaborate with Producers, Accounting, and colleagues to support account management and client retention.
