Job summary

AAA Northeast is hiring a Field Insurance Agent in the greater Boston area. You will complete paid training, receive licensing assistance, and sell personal lines insurance to AAA members via branch, phone, and online channels.

The role emphasizes relationship-building, policy proposals, and meeting sales targets while adhering to underwriting criteria and agency processes. Training and support are provided.

Qualifications

• 2+ years sales or customer service experience required.
• Insurance sales experience preferred.
• Personal Lines Insurance License within 30 days required.
• Life License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell insurance products and services, meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Interact with members in person at the branch, over the phone and online.
• Compile coverage and rating information; confirm underwriting criteria and premium data.
• Provide members with product and premium proposals that best fit their needs.
• Develop leads and prospects by responding to referrals in a timely manner.
• Participate in sales programs and maintain prospect files in the CRM system.
• Develop knowledge of Life products for referrals to licensed agents.
• Follow agency processes and procedures in quoting and binding coverage and processing payments.
• Work with QA and Underwriting to minimize error and omissions exposures.
• Gain knowledge of the agent's scope of authority.
