Job summary

HomeServices of America is seeking an Insurance Sales professional to assess client risk and sell personal lines coverage, identifying and addressing risk exposure.

You will work to develop referral relationships with real estate professionals, maintain licenses, stay current on underwriting requirements, and manage onboarding with precision. A 2-year track record in personal lines sales and strong communication are essential; bachelor’s degree preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience.
• Two years of personal lines insurance sales experience.
• Strong sales and marketing abilities.
• Familiarity with insurance laws and policy structures.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication.
• Excellent time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of real estate, title or mortgage businesses preferred.
• State-licensed for personal lines insurance.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell personal lines insurance policies and quote coverage.
• Develop referral relationships with real estate professionals to maximize sales.
• Provide guidance to new business specialists for timely client onboarding.
• Monitor risk and report potential insurance claims or complaints.
• Stay current on industry trends and carrier underwriting requirements.
• Maintain current license and complete CEUs as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
