Job summary

BHHS Georgia Properties is seeking an Insurance Sales Specialist to assess client risk exposures in personal lines and place appropriate coverage. You will market and sell policies, while building relationships with real estate personnel to maximize sales opportunities.

The role requires two years of personal lines sales experience and a current state license, with ongoing CEUs and compliance. A bachelor’s degree is preferred and a strong sales/relationship skill set is essential.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: two years of successful personal lines insurance sales.
• Licensing: appropriate state agent/broker license for personal lines.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell personal lines insurance policies, quote and place coverage.
• Identify and assess client risk exposures and make recommendations.
• Foster referral relationships with real estate agents, managers, and mortgage brokers.
• Provide direction to new business staff to ensure timely client onboarding.
• Monitor and report potential E&O issues and complaints to management.
• Stay current on industry trends and underwriting requirements.
• Maintain required licenses and complete CEUs as needed.
