Job summary

HomeServices Insurance, Inc. is seeking a dedicated insurance professional to assess client risk exposures and place coverage tailored to personal and commercial properties.

You will market and sell personal lines policies, proactively contacting leads and building trusted relationships with clients. You will foster referral partnerships with real estate professionals, guide new business staff, monitor for risk and errors, stay current on underwriting requirements, and maintain licenses.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Two years’ successful personal lines insurance sales experience.
• Must hold or be eligible for state personal lines agent/broker license.

Responsibilities

• Market and sell personal lines insurance policies. Proactively contact leads to recommend, quote and place coverage.
• Foster referral relationships with real estate personnel (agents, office managers, mortgage brokers) to maximize sales opportunities.
• Provide work direction to new business specialists to ensure onboarding is completed properly and timely.
• Monitor and report to management any circumstances that may lead to insurance errors or complaints.
• Remain current on industry trends and carrier underwriting requirements; follow company procedures.
• Ensure license remains current including CEUs as needed.
• Perform additional responsibilities as requested.
