Job summary

Responsibilities include assisting with endorsements, renewals, billing questions, and payments; handling claim documentation; maintaining accurate files in the agency system; and ensuring compliance with applicable laws, including Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications

• Property/Casualty insurance experience preferred.
• Insurance license preferred.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in office/clerical work is expected.

Responsibilities

• Assist personal lines agent with processing and servicing assigned customer accounts, including endorsements, renewals, billing questions, and payments.
• Assist claims administrator with proper handling of insurance claim documentation between insured, claimant, and insurer.
• Update insured's file with accurate information in the agency management system.
• Scan policy information into transactional activity files.
• Maintain knowledge of company manual resources and company websites.
• Maintain positive relationships to develop sales potential and retain insureds.
• Ensure compliance with laws and Bank Secrecy Act regulations.
• Maintain continuing education related to regulatory standards.
