Job summary

Marsh McLennan Agency's East Region is seeking an Associate Account Manager to retain existing Personal Lines accounts and develop new business. You will deliver prompt, high-quality service to designated accounts while supporting the team with underwriting information and renewal analyses.

This full-time role in West Chester, PA requires prior Personal Lines experience, state license availability, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. A degree and professional designation are preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have previous experience in Personal Lines of Business.
• Thorough understanding of Personal Lines underwriting and coverages.
• Minimum two years’ experience in similar position or in a Customer Service role in Personal Lines.
• Licenses as required by the State Department of Insurance to discuss/sell insurance.
• College degree preferred, but not mandatory.
• Professional designation strongly preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Provide Account Management services to Personal Lines accounts as assigned.
• Manage a book of business between 800k and 1.2M in Premium Volume.
• Support team approach of Account Managers as needed.
• Gather information and risk management recommendations for designated accounts.
• Market new business and existing accounts; determine premiums in comparative rater and company website.
• Prepare and present proposals to clients/prospects.
• Renewals: perform renewal reviews and confirm coverages.
