Job summary

BlueCare is seeking a Personal Carer to provide in-home care to clients in Eagleby, Cornubia, Steiglitz and surrounding areas. You will spend your day visiting clients, assisting with daily activities, and supporting independence as outlined in each Care Plan.

Role requires Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent, a valid Australian driver’s licence, a roadworthy vehicle, and comfort using smartphones or tablets. Competitive remuneration and lifestyle benefits apply.

Responsibilities

• Spending time on the road visiting clients at their homes, assisting with daily activities.
• In home personal care including showering, personal hygiene, meals, housework, laundry and ironing.
• Providing care per individual Care Plan.
• Support with community-based activities and social engagement.

About the role

As aPersonal Careryou’ll provide care to your clients living in the community, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life.

• Spending your time on the road completing scheduled visits, interacting one-on-one with clients within their homes supporting with daily activities
• In home personal care, daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, meal preparation, house cleaning, laundry and ironing
• Providing care in accordance with their individualised Care Plan
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities
• Transportation and assistance with shopping and appointments.
