BallyCara is looking for Qualified Support Workers to join our Support at Home team, helping older Australians remain independent and connected in their own homes. You’ll be a trusted face in clients’ weeks, providing practical and personal support with warmth and respect.

Qualifications

• Availability Monday–Friday between 8am–4pm.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Community) required.
• Previous experience in community or aged care support preferred.
• Current Australian Driver’s Licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle.
• Current First Aid & CPR; National Police Check or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and mobility assistance.
• Prepare meals and provide domestic support.
• Accompany clients on shopping and community outings.
• Provide transport to appointments; kilometres paid.
• Support clients to remain socially connected and achieve personal goals.
• Build positive, respectful relationships with clients and families.
• Work closely with care team to deliver safe, high-quality support.

Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a Support Worker, you’ll provide practical and personal support that helps our clients maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

We’re looking for people who are compassionate, reliable and genuinely enjoy working with older people.

You’ll need:

• Availability Monday–Friday between 8am–4pm
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Community)
• Previous experience in community or aged care support
• A warm, respectful and relationship-focused approach
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence
• A reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
• Current First Aid & CPR
• National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one through BallyCara
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations are highly recommended.
