Job summary

Blue Care Kenmore Aged Care Facility is seeking a Personal Carer for casual shifts across mornings, afternoons and nights, including every second weekend. You will support residents with daily living activities and implement care plans to promote independence.

Successful applicants will have Certificate III Aged Care or equivalent, comfort with technology, and the ability to meet probity and NDIS screening requirements.

Qualifications

• Certificate III Aged Care, Home and Community Care, Disability Support, or an equivalent qualification.
• Experience with technology incl. smartphones, tablets, laptops etc.
• Confidence to satisfy the probity checks required by legislation or policies.
• NDIS Worker Screening Clearance or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility.
• Providing care in accordance with individualised Care Plan.
• Supporting with community based recreational and social activities.

• Employment Status: Casual position available. Must be available to work mornings (6am - 2:30pm), afternoons (2pm - 10:30pm) and night shifts (10pm to 6:30am), including every second weekends.
• Location: Kenmore Aged Care Facility
• Remuneration: $36.32 per hour ($45.40 for casual rate) + Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging (Increase your take home pay!) + Penalties & Allowances + Employee discounts

About The Role

As a Personal Carer you’ll provide care to your clients living in our residential home, supporting their independence and improving their quality of life through activities that include:

• Daily living assistance including showering, personal hygiene, help at meal times and general mobility
