Job summary

Kalyra Communities is looking for a compassionate Personal Care Worker at Belair Residential Aged Care. You will provide essential support for daily living tasks, ensuring a safe and home-like environment for our residents. Your opportunity

As our valued Personal Care Worker at Belair Residential Aged Care, you’ll ensure the best possible quality of life for our residents. By providing continual support in daily living tasks, you’ll contribute to a safe, home-like environment that upholds residents’ comfort, independence and dignity.

With care and compassion, you will:

• Provide personal care, including assistance with showering, grooming and dressing
• Support residents with daily living tasks, such as eating, general cleaning and social activities
• Collaborate with fellow healthcare team members to ensure individual care plans are followed
• Make progress notes and communicate any changes in residents’ health status
• Nurture friendly, empathetic and professional relationships with residents and their families

We have a range of shifts available, including morning, afternoon, and night shifts, and we’re offering permanent part-time positions. Additionally, we’re particularly seeking candidates with availability on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, especially if you’re interested in a casual role.

• Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) or equivalent
• Experience providing personal care in a residential aged care home (either paid work or placement hours)
• National Police Check (or willingness to obtain one)
• Current First Aid and CPR accreditation

Ideally, you will also have:

• Availability to work three days a week or more
• Ability to comply with safe work practices and food‑safe handling practices
• Ability to read, write and communicate clearly in English
• A reliable vehicle with current driver’s licence
