BallyCara is seeking an Experienced Domestic Cleaner to support clients across multiple suburbs and help maintain independence at home. The role combines cleaning with meaningful client interaction and relationship-building to improve quality of life.

You’ll work within BallyCara’s Support at Home team, contributing to a safe, welcoming home environment while upholding privacy and care plans. This casual/part-time opportunity emphasizes reliability and compassionate service.

BallyCara is looking for an Experienced Domestic Cleaner – Community Aged Care to join our Support at Home team and support clients across Kallangur, Albany Creek, Petrie, Strathpine, Lawnton, Bray Park and surrounding areas.

This is more than a cleaning role.

You’ll help create a safe, comfortable and welcoming home environment while supporting our clients to maintain their independence, dignity and quality of life.

Casual

With the potential to move into permanent employment for the right candidate.

Permanent Part Time

Tuesday to Friday, 9:00am – 1:00pm.

We’re looking for people who can provide reliable support during weekdays, with some flexibility around working hours highly regarded.

What will you do?

As a Domestic Cleaner, you’ll provide high-quality domestic assistance to clients in their own homes, helping them maintain a clean, safe and comfortable environment.

Your day may include:

• Completing domestic cleaning and household duties
• Supporting clients to maintain their independence at home
• Providing companionship and emotional support
• Encouraging social connection and participation in meaningful activities
• Building positive and respectful relationships with clients and their families
• Observing and reporting changes in a client’s health or wellbeing

Desired Skills and Experience

About You

We’re looking for someone who brings experience, reliability and genuine care to every client interaction.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience working in community aged care or HomeCare
• Experience providing domestic assistance within clients’ homes
• A warm, respectful and compassionate approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• The ability to work independently and manage your time effectively
• A genuine commitment to supporting older people to remain independent

You will also need:

• Current Australian Driver’s Licence
• Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
• Current First Aid & CPR
• National Police Check, or willingness to obtain one
• COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations are highly recommended
